- What does “American” identity mean to you?
- Thematically, what do you think is meant by “American” Literature? What do you think are its defining characteristics?
Friday.
In class: Memoir defined; fact, fiction, and truth.
Homework: Read and annotate Black Ice (BI) foreword and ch. 1, pp. 3-18 (16).
